My name is Jessica Doll and I'm a children's photographer based in San Jose, California. My style is very relaxed and natural. I like to take both posed and candid photos to keep our session fun & lively.Working on location allows me versatility in my photos to shoot where my clients are most comfortable, whether it be in their home, at a favorite park, or anywhere else.

Pricing
I offer two different types of sessions to meet your needs; a full, and a half.Your session fee pays for my time and talent, a pre-session meeting (usually via phone) to plan our shoot, a 1.5 - 3 hour(full) / 45 minute (half) on-location session with me, and also all of the post-production work that I do after our shoot to ensure that every single photo is perfect. I also offer online proofing / gallery hosting for up to 3 months after our shoot so that you can share with family and friends if you wish.

Print prices begin at $15 per print, $40 for print packages, $230 for fine art canvas, $25 for digital downloads, and $75 for digital media.
The session fee is due and payable within 5 days of booking our shoot.
What is a session with Jessica like?
You can e-mail me or call me to book a shoot. We will work on a date/time and a suitable location and I will tentatively book it. Once the session fee is paid you will be added to the calendar and can consider your session "booked".After booking you will receive an information packet. It will include tips on clothing, a detailed price list, tips to prepare for your session, and directions to our location. I will call you before hand to answer any questions you may have, and to plan our shoot in further detail. If you have any questions at any time feel free to call me.
Please arrive at the location 10 minutes early to allow for set up. We will then shoot your photos allowing ample time for any wardrobe changes, mood changes, etc. I want you to feel as relaxed as possible, so please do not feel rushed.
Approximatly 2 weeks after our session you will receive your photos via the method of your choice. You can choose to have an online gallery to order from and I will go over the photos with you, or you can choose to receive hard proofs to order from.
Your order will be ready anywhere from 3-6 weeks after you place it, depending on the items that you chose.

What should I wear?
After you have reserved your session date, you will receive an information packet to look over. This packet will contain tips on clothing (including my favorite places to shop), a detailed price list, and instructions on how to prepare for your session, policies and a map to our shoot location.
Where do you normally shoot?
Sessions will be conducted at a mutually agreed upon location, such as a park or at your home.
What if I live outside of the San Jose area?
Not a problem! If you live more than 15 miles outside of my area a travel charge will apply. I am available for sessions out of state and abroad. Please inquire for details.
When should I book my newborn session?
Newborns photograph best when they are younger than 10 days old. Babies grow so quickly and in order to capture that "brand new" look, please call and book your newborn session before your baby is born.
How long will it be before I see the images?
Your images will be available to view within 2 weeks. Prints will be ready in 2-3 weeks after you place your order. Rush delivery is available on most items. Special order frames may take up to 6 weeks to receive.
How many proofs will I get to see?
While every session is different, typically you will have a minimum of 20-40 unique images to choose from. All images are enhanced and retouched before the proofing process begins.
