How do I book a session?

What should I wear?
After you have reserved your session date, you will receive an information packet to look over. This packet will contain tips on clothing (including my favorite places to shop), a detailed price list, and instructions on how to prepare for your session, policies and a map to our shoot location. Where do you normally shoot?
Sessions will be conducted at a mutually agreed upon location, such as a park or at your home. I also have a home studio available if you prefer to be photographed in a studio.
What happens if it rains?
I will be in contact if the weather is questionable during our session. If it rains we can reschedule your session, or opt for studio photos. Since the weather is almost always unpredictable I usually wait until the day of our session to "make the call".
What if I live outside of the San Jose area?
Not a problem! If you live more than 15 miles outside of my area a travel charge will apply. I am available for sessions out of state and abroad. Please inquire for details.
When should I book my maternity session?
Maternity photos are most flattering when taken around the 32 week mark in your pregnancy.
When should I book my newborn session?
Newborns photograph best when they are younger than 10 days old. Babies grow so quickly and in order to capture that "brand new" look, please call and book your newborn session before your baby is born.
Do you offer any session packages?
I offer a Belly to Baby package ($50 discount), and a First Year package ($200-300 discount).
Do you have a payment plan?
I offer a payment plan for my First Year package. It requires a $300 deposit to book your first session, then $100 payment prior to booking each subsequent session after that.
How long will it be before I see the images?
Your images will be available to view within 2 weeks. Prints will be ready in 1-2 weeks after you place your order. Rush delivery is available on most items. Special order items may take 3 to 6 weeks to receive.
How many proofs will I get to see?
While every session is different, typically you will have a minimum of 20-40 unique images to choose from. All images are enhanced and retouched before the proofing process begins.
